Maddie's parent teacher conference
We had PT conferences for Maddie in October and were very pleased and proud by what her teacher had to say about her (of course we already thought those things). Her teacher said that there wasn't too many kids that she trusted to help others but Maddie was one. She said she is very mature and knows how to help other kids who maybe aren't understanding something without just giving them the anwers. She said she really feels like Maddie will be a teacher when she grows up. Maddie is obsessed with playing teacher at home (with Kynzie as her student). She had career day at school and of course Maddie dressed up like her teacher, Mrs. Howard. It was really cute and Mrs. Howard thought that was really neat. She said Maddie actually reminds her of herself when she was younger. Anyways, we are so proud of her for being such a good helper and good student at school. Oh yeah, one other funny thing was how perfectly organized Maddie's desk was compared to every other kid in her class. She had all of her folders neatly stacked and in order from biggest to smallest and then her crayon box very neatly placed on top of it. There was no trash or loose papers hanging out of her desk like every other desk in the class. The next month, she actually won an award for having the most tidy desk!
