Kynzie's cutting

Oh you never know what you're gonna get with this little stinker. Matt brought home his school pictures yesterday and every year he cuts the wallets out and gives one to each of the girls for their backpacks. So he asked Kynzie if she wanted one and she got all excited and said that she did and that she would cut them for him. We hesitated but decided that we would let her seeing as how she was so excited about it. Matt and I watched her cut along the lines really good and we were so proud of her. A while later she re-appeared and had a small picture of Matt in her hand like one of the ones in the picture. Matt and I dropped our jaw but just laughed at her and said "okay that's fine Kynzie but don't cut anymore like that." Well, then we watched Kynzie's jaw dropped and we realized that she had already cut them all out. This is how I found them on the counter.

She was so proud of herself. I couldn't even be mad at her. Whenever I need a good laugh, I will just have to look at this picture.

Another Cheer Picture

Her first stunt! When she first started she said that she DID NOT want to stunt. She only wanted to be a spotter on the ground. But considering she is one of the smallest girls, her coaches worked with her to get her to not be scared and go up! She's already come along way.

Maddie's Cheer Video

This is on game #1! I will post after their last game of the season and see their improvement.

Maddie's first game

First day went GREAT! Maddie and all of the cheerleaders did so good! Unfortunatley the little football team that they cheered for didn't fare so well :). Go Blazers!

Riding the Camel

We went to the zoo this weekend and the girls talked us into letting them ride the camel. After they got off, I heard Maddie asking Kynzie why she wouldn't talk to her during their ride. Then she said, "oh you must have just been scared, it's okay" (in her motherly voice).

Kynzie's new haircut!

Somebody got a new haircut this weekend and I think this is the biggest smile I have ever seen out of her.

Too bad the smiles didn't last long. About an hour after getting home from the salon, I found her in front of the mirror crying saying that she "looked different and didn't like her hair." Aww, poor girl. After Matt told her that she looks "older" she started feeling better about it.
